I am the founder and CEO at Big Sea, an award-winning, remote, 40-person digital marketing agency. Since 2005, we have been creating authentic connections between organizations and their customers and clients through digital media.

I was a 2016 finalist for Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Businesswoman of the Year in Technology, serve on the faculty of USF’s Digital Marketing program, have presented research at academic and professional conferences all over the country, and have served on the advisory boards of the Digital Marketing Certification Program at the University of South Florida, The Suncoast Developer's Guild, and the Studio@620, and founded Tampa Bay’s chapter of Girl Develop It.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota-Mankato, another in Visual Art from Eckerd College, graduate work in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida, with a concentration in Strategic Communication. My academic research focused on digital communication, social media, and branding.
I'm passionately in love with my teenage daughter, wild artist husband, 3 dogs, hiking the mountains of Western NC, camping in our Airstream Basecamp, black coffee, and the Green Bay Packers — in no particular order.
